The PCL Leadership Programme presents a challenging range of learning opportunities designed to foster increased awareness of leadership issues and promote personal leadership development.
Leaders confound theorists and academics because they do not conform to any simplistic formula; they are not 'born' to be leaders and they cannot be 'cloned'. Successful leaders are highly diverse in relation to their backgrounds and their personalities - their one common feature is that they have each discovered their leadership potential through the unique personal challenges and opportunities that they have faced and dealt with successfully.
The PCL Leadership Programme mirrors this process. It works to enhance awareness of each participant's assets and shortcomings in relation to the wide range of leadership attributes. Through in-depth personality analysis, expert coaching and group training, participants are equipped to make life changing personal development decisions - charting their individual routes to leadership success.
Established by Geoff Trickey in 1992, PCL has worked with major institutions and global organisations contributing to the identification and development of leadership talent.
