"The system was very user friendly and easy to navigate. It was brill being able to do work and save it till later and the icons to say that work wasn't completed etc., was very easy to understand. I received fantastic support from my tutor Louise in all ways possible: in person, email and she was willing to talk on the phone and sent guidance by post when returning some written work. The online info was easy to follow. Overall, I can wholeheartedly commend the online course. It was a bit daunting, but with Louise's assistance she made it much more do-able!"

"I took Level A on-line, and it was an excellent experience. The presentation of the modules was very accessible, and the whole thing was extremely convenient for me as I didn't want to spend the 'away-from-work' time involved in a face to face course. I worked on the topics in my own time; I could add to and change my answers as often as I wanted or needed to very easily. It was easy to see what I had done, what needed more work and how much was still left to do! Having everything printed in a training manual as well enabled me to work at the PC and at the same time use tables, instructions etc. in the manual, so I didn't have to struggle with too much to-ing and fro-ing on-screen. Level B is in the process of being made accessible on-line and I think that will be superb too. Each course included a practice day and it was helpful to compare notes with other students, and to give each other a bit of support as we learnt. This day provided invaluable practical experience as we learnt to understand the tests and how best to use them. Helena Smith was my personal tutor and her support was invaluable. Statistics are definitely a real challenge for me and Helena made herself available all the way through my training and explained what was needed whenever I was unclear or uncertain. I have already recommended this way of learning to other people; I think it is first class."

"I was asked to complete the Level A by a client in order to support a particular psychometric process. The practicalities meant that I needed to complete my Level A online rather than attend a full week course (which would have been my preference). Having been through the process, I would like to commend PCL on their system. The material was very logically set out and accessible and the support material very good. Particularly valuable was the ready availability of the tutor to talk me through issues and help me through some of the more frustrating times with great patience and tact. PCL were also flexible in helping me through the modules when under particular time constraints. An online version gives you the flexibility to complete in your own hours and own time. You do lose out on face-to-face interaction though gain in having specific tailored phone support when needed. I would certainly recommend this as an option for Level A completion - especially if you are comfortable with statistics!"
